$MONEY$
We have been working on money for a few weeks now. We have been discussing different strategies on how to count money amounts and how to make change. The grade 3 expectation is to add money amounts to $10, to make change up to $10, and to represent money amounts to $10. When possible please have your child practice adding money amounts, making change, and representing various amounts. Making change has proven to be a difficult concept, they are working hard and using different strategies to make change. Continued practice with making change would be beneficial.
