Oral Presentations
Here is the oral presentation outline. The students have done a great job with the first 3 presentations. As a next step, the students are working on knowing their speech, using more eye contact, and using more expression in their voice.
Thank you for your continued support at home in helping your child succeed!
Dear Parents,
This year the grade three class will be working on oral
presentation skills. Each month the students will be asked to put together an
oral presentation. Each month will have a different focus. The students are
asked to put together up to a one
minute presentation that will be presented to the class at the end of the
month. The speeches are not meant to be long or too time consuming at home. The
focus is for the students to develop their recount skills and public speaking
skills. This will be connected to recount writing. The grade 3 expectation is
to recount an event in the form of an interview or a speech. If you have any
questions please do not hesitate to ask.
